Indiana -Science Technology Engineering Mathematics

The I-STEM Resource Network of Northwest Indiana is a partnership of the region's public and private higher education institutions,
K-12 schools, business, industry, and government. It adheres to the mission of the state wide I-STEM network
( http://www.istemnetwork.org/about/ ) while concentrating its effort in Northwest Indiana.

I-STEM Goals for Northwest Indiana

Our goal is to establish concrete connections, relationships, and programs between all partners
in Northwest Indiana.

•  I-STEM will promote student academic involvement and achievement in STEM disciplines.

•  I-STEM will also support the transition of these highly qualified students into the region's workforce.

I-STEM Mission for Indiana

Our mission will be one of a facilitator between all partners. I-STEM of Northwest Indiana will provide a forum
and vehicle to promote the STEM disciplines and resources in the region.
