I-STEM Government Mission

The mission of I-STEM Resource Network of Northwest Indiana is to keep local and state government
informed about issues related to the I-STEM initiative.

•  I-STEM Northwest recognizes Government as an important partner of the I-STEM network.

•  The strength of the network will be the ability to find opportunities as a result of the connections
   made by all the partners. 

•  The goal is to attract more students to enter higher education in the STEM areas.    

•  This in turn will create a stronger workforce for the region to support the economically
   favorable STEM related jobs and businesses.
