I-STEM Mission Higher Education

The I-Stem Resource Network of Northwest Indiana will work with Higher Education
to help attract qualified individuals into the STEM related teaching areas and
disciplines in the region.   

•  I-STEM Northwest will provide Higher Education a means to disseminate tools and technical
    assistance to help K-12 educators achieve academic excellence with their students in the STEM
    subject areas.     

•  I-STEM Northwest will assist Higher Education in attracting students into the STEM related
    professions.   

•  Through connections made with I-STEM partners, Higher Education will have an interactive
    forum for increasing the quality of teacher and professional preparation in STEM related fields.
