I-STEM Northwest simulated Job Fair... What is it?

Businesses, Industry, and government departments will be in Purdue Calumet's Gym November 12, 2008 from 8:30 to 3:00 pm to inform 7th to 12th grade students on the great opportunities for employment in STEM related jobs in Northwest Indiana.

Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives individually to discuss the type of preparation it will require now and in the future to be qualified for fulfilling and rewarding jobs available at these companies and institutions.

The setting will be just like a real job fair where students can visit the booths that interest them.

Higher education institutions will also be represented at the fair to let students know where they can get the education they will need for these STEM careers.
