I-STEM Mission Teachers

I-STEM Northwest Indiana mission as it relates to teachers in the region is to provide valuable resources in the STEM related subjects.

These resources will include but not limited to:     

• Teacher continuing education classes and workshops emphasizing current research and best
   practices in STEM related teaching methods.

•  Provide and identify grade appropriate instructional materials and lesson plans designed to meet
    or exceed state standards.

•  Provide a reference library of lessons matching specific lessons with specific state standards
   for each grade in STEM related subjects.

•  Organize and develop field trip activities for students with their teachers in the STEM subject areas.

•  Provide teachers a forum to make connections with the other I-Stem Northwest partners.
